Welcome, Weaverling
For those of you arriving from nebulous constellations light years from RapidWeaver Central, this is the parallel dimension in which we bring together everything that's been happening — and is about to happen — in the RapidWeaver community, as well as collating all the weaverlicious articles, links and resources we've stumbled across in the last four weeks. Buckle up. Lightspeed gets bumpy.
But don't be blinded by its diminuitive size. Bokeh, like all of Jordan's themes, is crafted with a perfectionist's eye for detail and packed with power and innovation. Featuring built-in jQuery, FancyZoom support for Photo Albums, ExtraContent and a selection of gorgeous headers, at $4.99 this is one lightweight theme that packs one helluva punch.
In this month's exclusive subscriber competition, Jordan has kindly given us two copies of BOKEH to offer up as prizes — so if you'd like to be in with a winning chance, be sure to enter the competition at the bottom of the post. [The competition is now CLOSED. Thanks to all who entered, and if you didn't win this time, try again next month when we'll have plenty more giveaways to give away...]
Codename RETAIL
Themeflood's Will Woodgate has gone all coy on me and no longer succumbs to my naturally hypnotic charms. Everything he tells me now is wrapped in big quotation marks. Like the fact that he's "busy working on some quite large custom projects, namely two new RapidWeaver themes which are close to completion and a third at the mockup stage."Thing is, here at RapidWeaver Central we go the extra mile for our loyal subscribers, which is why we threw our expense sheets out the window and flew south in our company Learjet to infiltrate Themeflood's underground bunker where we managed to photograph the blueprint you see below of Woodgate's next prototype, codenamed Retail.
Although our Forensic Unit are still trying to determine exactly what kind of theme Shoplifter might be, Woodgate says our readers are welcome to contact him if they want further information about this or other upcoming themes.

Blowing Stacks
Tim hasn't been resting on his laurels at iDsign, he's released another absolute gem of a stack called PopUp. This extremely versatile stack comes with themable skins and some powerful multi-functional options. The President of El Stacko, meanwhile, has read the Riot Act on his workforce and ramped up production to introduce RapidWeaver's first animated text Stack...
All the while, Joe Workman keeps the pressure on pretenders to his throne with Gyro's recent arrival alongside Elixir's beautifully fresh Lime theme.
Culture Shock
CosCulture's Eric Boo has leaked the following information concerning his latest news:Notifications Stack
We all know how effective Growl notifications are on our Macs. They get our attention in a non-intrusive way. Now you can give similar functionality to your web pages. No longer do your visitors need to be confronted with obtrusive popups. You can use the Notifications Stack to emulate Growl on your web pages. With it, you can present quick news or information in a pleasant and eye-catching way.
DragZone Stack
Have you ever seen web pages where users can arrange the contents to their liking? Now you can bring this feature to your Stacks pages. You can place your content into theme-able boxes which the users can rearrange and have their new positions remembered. DragZone's boxes lets you structure information on the page in an uncluttered manner and makes it easy for the users to read what you have to tell them. It's a great aid for layouts because you can choose to go from 1 column to 5 columns.
TabMate Update
A new feature has been added to TabMate. You can now choose to place the tabs at the top (which is default), the bottom, or on the left or right side. With this feature, TabMate is much more versatile, being able to be incorporated into a wider range of layouts.
Upcoming FaboGallery Update
Many people have asked for FaboGallery to support the usage of photos in Facebook Pages. This feature has been added and is undergoing testing. It will be released soon, so stay tuned!
You Didn't Hear It From Me

In the meantime, Sundog reminds me that along with the purchase of symMedia5 is a discount code for Supportcasts which amounts to $15 off a 12 month membership. Not only that but he's just completed a video cast on symMedia5 that shows everything it does and how to set it up.
And to commemorate Ed Brenner's brand new CMS series, he has generously offered one of our loyal subscribers the chance to win a licence for symNivo. You can enter the competition at the bottom of the post.
Meanwhile NimbleHost's Jonathan Head informs me he's not only slaving over a new theme — which is still a few weeks from primetime — but also a top-secret plugin, details of which (for some strange reason I can't fully comprehend) he feels he can't share with me, the Duke of Absolute Discretion.
Now that RapidCart 2.5.0 has just been released Gilberto has launced a RapidWhat? campaign to let you the user choose the next plugin that Omnidea will be working on.
coolSEO's Scott Gerling tells me that building a social media site is not as easy as he thought it would be. Although the entire front end of Socialiife — the name of his social media site — was built using RapidWeaver, the PHP backend is proving a little more troublesome. He's confident it'll be up soon.
And finally, hot off the presses, Gary at RWT has just unveiled his latest theme Stretch, which comes loaded with some super slick jQueryed ExtraContent areas and is accompanied by a brand new Stretch stack which purchasers get absolutely free.
Late Breaking News!
